Movement

She graduated from University of California, Irvine in 2016 with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior. She has trained with LINES Ballet, San Francisco Dance Conservatory and Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

Her work has been showcased at Highways Performance Space and William Gillespie Theater at UC Irvine. 

In concert dance performance, she has worked for esteemed concert dance choreographers such as Micaela Taylor, Madeline Hollander, Donald Mckayle and Deborah Brockus in venues including, the John Ford Amphitheater,  MOCA LA, The Odyssey Theater Ensemble, The Moore Theater, Human Resources Gallery, Annenberg Theater, REDCAT Roy and Edna Disney Theater, Theatre Ramon Kabbaz, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Seattle Broadway Concert Hall. She has collaborated and performed in concert styles including contemporary, partnering, acting, hip hop, ballet, improvisation, and site specific.


In commercial work, she has worked for Jordan Peele, Dorian Electra, Charlie XCX, Snoop Dogg, Pussy Riot, and ESPN in music videos, movie studios, night clubs, tours, music festivals, pride festivals, commercials and more. In this work she has performed in jazz, hip hop and improvisation.

Arts Administration

In nonprofit administration, Mackey runs Mackey Art Productions including her work in development, community engagement, education, marketing, sponsorship and donation management and more. 


In grant writing, she successfully received a grant from the First District County of Los Angeles Office of Hilda L Solis, and Center for Cultural Innovation including the CALI Accelerator Grant and Quick Grant Award. She has also trained in grant writing from UC Irvine, and The NonProfit Partnership's course Government Grant Writing.

In community engagement, she worked for The West Hollywood Dance Festival and Nevermore METRO Poetry Festival. For this she was responsible for building outreach email databases for individuals, schools, businesses, organizations, canvassing neighborhoods of the events and  coordinating with the event venues. Her work with these festivals increased their audience and strengthened their relationship with their community. 


Mackey worked for UC Irvine Summer Arts Academy and WHW nonprofit in assisting educational and administrative programs. With the Summer Arts Academy she programmed and budgeted activities for students outside of their classes, and counseled them on their college futures. For WHW, a non profit focussing on employment success, she assisted in educational workshops for computer skills, interviewing techniques and organizing donations.


In development she is currently working with Brockus Project Dance on their production of Los Angeles Dance Festival. With this company she has built sponsorship and donation contact databases of over 100 contacts, and procured over $6,000 worth of sponsorships and donations.
